YHC website launches new look
Young Harris, GA (02/06/2025) — The Young Harris College website is launching a new look and feel today, adding some new features designed to improve the user experience.
Highlighting the beauty of the Enchanted Valley and the spirit and energy of Mountain Lion students, the new site has incorporated a number of large photographs of the campus - each linked to a different area of the website.
In addition to the refreshed home page, the site features a new section designed specifically for students - Mountain Lion Central. The new section pulls together the most frequently visited areas by students into one page on the site, creating a one-stop shop.
One more new feature to the site is a chatbot, Luke the Mountain Lion. Anchored at the right-hand bottom corner of the site, Luke can be accessed at any time and is designed to answer any question about YHC. Luke knows everything about YHC and can help visitors access information they need.
"We are constantly evaluating the performance of the website and working to improve the user experience for our Mountain Lions, their parents, our alums and donors - and anyone visiting www.yhc.edu," said Steve Esser, Communications director at YHC. "We hope visitors find the new features are helpful, and rest assured we are always monitoring the site and looking for ways to improve the experience."
