The Young Harris College 2022-2023 academic year has come to an end, and members of the Class of 2023 have completed their final year in the Enchanted Valley. After celebrating YHC seniors at the annual Senior Reception and Baccalaureate Service, the College held its traditional Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 6, in the Harp Recreation and Commencement Center.

Graduates from Young Harris College's Class of 2025 walked the stage Saturday, May 10, culminating years of education and earning their degrees. Close to 200 students graduated at Saturday's ceremony on Young Harris College campus. Commencement capped a week of activity, ranging from the annual Senior Reception to a Baccalaureate Service.

Young Harris College's Campus Gate Art Gallery is hosting the 2023 Student Juried Art Exhibition featuring artwork by YHC students. The exhibit opened on Monday, March 20, with a reception at 6 p.m. in the gallery. The student work will be on display through Thursday, March 30. The exhibit is free and open to the public!

On Thursday, March 16, Young Harris College held its Circle Charter Ceremony for the National Leadership Honors Society Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), with over 30 outstanding individuals inducted as founding members of the Circle. ODK President and CEO Dr. Tara Singer presided over the ceremony, joined by Young Harris College President, Dr. Drew Van Horn and Provost, Dr. Jason Pierce.

On Tuesday, November 29, Young Harris College was notified that Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) had approved the College's Charter for a Circle on its campus. ODK is the nation's oldest honor society that recognizes leadership. It is a prestigious member of the Honor Society Caucus. The other three members of the Caucus are Phi Kappa Phi (America's oldest and most selective multidisciplinary collegiate honor society), Phi Beta Kappa (America's most prestigious academic honor society), and Sigma Xi (America's most prestigious scientific research honor society).
