Young Harris, GA (09/17/2026) — Mark your calendar for the perfect combination of music and stars in October as the O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium brings you "Music of the Spheres II: An Immersive Experience with Live Choral Music."

Music of the Spheres II: An Immersive Experience with Live Choral Music

• Friday, Oct. 16, 11:30 a.m.
• Monday, Oct. 19, 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 20, 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

The live concert is performed by the Young Harris College Concert and Chamber Choirs. The concert features music from several genres representing a variety of historical periods, all programmed around the theme of heavenly objects and fixtures of the night sky.

Songs include "Stars are with the Voyager" by Houston Bright, "Ballad to the Moon" by Daniel Elder, "Light of a Clear Blue Morning" by Dolly Parton, and more.

Ticket Cost: $7 per adult and $5 per child. Show vouchers are not accepted for this performance. Free with YHC ID.

O. Wayne Rollins Planetarium features shows for the general public on select Friday evenings. Tickets for shows can be purchased at the door with cash or check. Tickets can also be purchased online via Eventbrite by visiting the following link: https://www.yhc.edu/planetarium/

Purchasing tickets online in advance is recommended, since planetarium shows often sell out. Observatory open houses do not require tickets.

Guests are encouraged to arrive early to planetarium shows for the best seats. Public shows, with the exception of Cosmic Concerts, include a live-narrated "season stargazing" segment in addition to the featured full-dome program. Any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the door 30 minutes prior to showtime.
