Young Harris College Hosts 20th Annual Clay Dotson Open

Young Harris, GA (06/04/2024) — The 20th annual Clay Dotson Open golf tournament was held on May 20 at Brasstown Valley Resort with 235 golfers, helping raise more than $130,000 to benefit student scholarships at Young Harris College.

"I want to thank everyone who has come out today to support the Clay Dotson Open," said Dr. Drew Van Horn, Young Harris College president, at the opening ceremony for the tournament. "We have held this tournament for 20 years and it is a wonderful way to support the College and our students. I want to thank you for that support."

Proceeds from the tournament go directly into scholarships for students at YHC.

Players enjoyed morning and afternoon flights followed by an awards ceremony. Prizes for the tournament were awarded as follows:
