Musician and artist kicks off 2024 with Young Harris College exhibit

Young Harris, GA (01/23/2024) — Musician, singer/songwriter, and artist, Abe Partridge will be sharing his music and his art with Young Harris College Thursday, Jan. 25, beginning with a concert at 6 p.m. at the Susan B. Harris Chapel on campus and then moving to the Campus Gate Art Gallery for the art exhibit immediately following the concert.

Patridge is well known in the region as a songwriter and visual artist. His paintings are mainly acrylic and work with unconventional materials like roofing tar, plywood, or old, damaged vinyl records.

Partridge tries to "rethink preconceived notions. Question authority. Create new methods of survival. See beauty."

His show debuts Jan. 25 and will be at the Campus Gate Art Gallery through March 1. The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
